Welcome to the TFL Care Initiative, an independent nonprofit organization created with a special focus on helping military retirees and their families age 65 and older understand and navigate Tricare For Life, Medicare, and the benefits and resources available to them.

While our heart remains with the 65+ military community, our support doesn’t stop there. From Tricare Prime and Select to Tricare For Life, Medicare, retirement transitions, disability-related eligibility, and other military and veteran benefit questions, we’re here to help make complicated systems easier to understand.

Whether you’re an active-duty family, approaching military retirement, preparing for Medicare, already using Tricare For Life, transitioning to Medicare earlier due to disability, or simply trying to figure out where to turn for help, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

We provide compassionate, clear, and accessible education and support without commercial bias or hidden agendas. Our goal is simple: to help military-connected individuals and families understand their options, advocate for themselves, and confidently access the benefits and resources available to them.
